Burglar-resistant facade: proven system solution for enhanced property protection

To address the demand for higher levels of building security, Jansen introduces the new VISS RC4, an advanced version of its RC3 burglar-resistant system. The VISS RC4 meets the increasing need for heightened security while ensuring easy production and installation. Maintaining the same aesthetic as the standard VISS facade, the VISS RC4 offers no visible indications of its burglar-resistant capabilities, allowing diverse building requirements to be met with a consistent appearance.

The new VISS RC4 facade effectively guards against even well-equipped burglars. It can withstand a standardised break-in attempt, as defined by EN 1630, for a minimum of ten minutes. With just a few additional components, the VISS facade can be upgraded to an RC4 burglar-resistant structure, while preserving its uniform appearance. Moreover, the VISS RC4 can be seamlessly enhanced with insulating cores to create a highly insulated facade, catering to the growing demand for energy-efficient solutions. The VISS RC system solution is available in the standard VISS system’s face widths of 50 and 60 mm. Additionally, with the VISS Basic system, any type of support profile can be used. Insert elements from Janisol, Janisol Arte, and Jansen Economy 50/60 with corresponding RC approval can also be integrated.
